Hoglund’s is THE place to go for work wear, western wear, and winter wear when it comes to working/living in the untamed 406. I can honestly say that I will be coming here more often when a new pair of boots or jacket is in order.
Great selection of boots and clothing. They also have the best selection of FR (Fire Resistant) clothing in town.
This is the country man’s store. Boots, shirts, leather work, custom hats… just ask it’s all there, and what a nice group of employees!! Even the kids’ boots and clothes are amazing. I didn’t see anything that wasn’t worth the price.
Best western wear store in Montana. Mike is the man when it comes to shaping and cleaning up hats. Always stop and get my hat tuned up when I am in Great Falls. Great selection of Wrangler jeans at best prices around. Thanks Mike for cleaning and shaping my hat to keep me looking good!!!
One of the best long-standing local department stores. You have to visit even just for the leather smells. I only purchased work boots, but could have spent so much more.
My husband took me here, I had never been. My new Favorite, love this store! Customer service was Fabulous and so helpful. We will be back soon!😁

We were only shopping for Western hats here, but they have a large variety of all western wear. They custom-fit and designed western hats and did a great job on ours!
Hoglund’s was the first place where the associates were so knowledgeable on the sizes and widths to give you the perfect fit. I lived in Great Falls for some time, and now I live in Baytown Texas and there was a certain boot that I was looking for. But for the life of me, I could not find a 9 1/2 B. Then it dawned on me to call up Hoglund’s in Great Falls, and Miss Kim answered the phone. I asked her and she came right back to the phone and had them and then I told her where I lived and she said no problem I’ll ship them to you. I would like to thank Miss Kim from the bottom of my heart.
This is probably the best Western wear store in Montana. It’s the real deal. Real Western wear is sold by people who know what they’re doing. Excellent selection, excellent environment, excellent prices. This is what a Western wear store should be! I am happy to drive from Bozeman to shop there.
Was looking for a western-style wool vest in my size. I should have started at Hoglunds, they had my size, style selection choice in colors, and price point. I’m going to return with my wife, she will be impressed with the styles and selection.

Fabulous! Today was our second visit to Hoglunds this year. We were here this summer as well and bought real cowboy hats and boots. They fitted myself and son, Mike knows how to custom shape a cowboy hat. Great selection – wonderful knowledgeable sales staff. Mike, that owns the store, is so helpful and not high pressure at all, you got a LOVE that !!!!! I wish I lived 800 miles closer!
My go to store for work boots and work wear – top of the line. Hoglund’s had what I wanted in stock when nobody else did. Excellent communication. Will absolutely keep my business with Hoglunds.
The staff was MORE than helpful. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the boots that I wanted, and it would be a while before they could get them in due to shipping issues. I’ve already purchased a pair of boots earlier this spring and am incredibly happy with them.

We just bought boots for my husband here and had the best customer service we have had in a long time. The gentleman who helped us (the owner maybe? Had been there 45 years) went out of his way to make sure we found exactly what we needed. He was so kind to my kids. He showed them the biggest shoe in their store, size 28, which was the size Shaq wears and even let them try it on. We had been so frustrated trying to find boots all day because my husband wears size 14/15 and no one has them in stock. We were all getting grouchy but their service turned around our moods right away. The way they made us feel guaranteed that we will be back again even if we could buy what we are looking for cheaper elsewhere. Their products are high quality and I will gladly support a company that treats people so kindly.

I recently went to Hoglund’s for the first time a few days ago, and again today. Kim was there both times and helped us throughout our whole visit. She was so knowledgeable and offered much-needed advice with choosing the right sizes (boots and hats for myself and my toddler). Everything was perfect. Even when my son was starting to get a little fussy—which let’s be honest is every parent’s nightmare—everyone was so kind and understanding. I am all about supporting a locally-owned business and am so grateful that our community has them. Hoglund’s you have gained a lifetime customer!

What a store! Talk about customer care and attention to detail. They were willing to tailor-fit any pair of boots my wife wanted to try and said she didn’t have to buy any. When she found the boots she wanted they adjusted the fit twice for a perfect fit. This was the second pair they adjusted. Then to top it off we bought a pair for myself. I will definitely shop there again.

First time ever in Hoglund’s. Stopped to buy a pair of boots. The woman who helped us was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She helped us pick out a pair of boots that fit our needs and she respected our budget with no attempt to upsell. I live out of state and will very likely wait until my next trip to Great Falls to buy boots.
